Millie likes Pleasanton!!

Millie had a great day yesterday.  We went to friend Karen's house in Pleasanton ... and besides the fact that she's just a wonderful person, we share a love of photography.  and pizza.  (must blog about pizza next time)
Karen lives near this gorgeous open space ... and she has a wonderful 12 year old boy, Nicholas.  (actually, Karen has three great kids, but we were with Nicholas yesterday)   So we practiced our photography on Nicholas ... Nicholas rode his bike ... and Millie chased squirrels.
all in all, a great day for everyone.

oh!  and best part:  PIZZA for lunch!!  yessss.  pepperoni.

Day One: Millie's Day in Danville, CA

Well,

Marshall's "Coffee with a Canine" episode was such a hit that Millie and I got to thinking. (I know! Trouble!!) Answering his questions and taking the photos was so much fun ... what if we did this on a regular basis?

What would we talk about? & would anyone care?

Well, maybe nobody cares, but we have some time, and it might be kinda fun. We're just going to talk about our day. or week. Portrait sessions we've had, fun walks we've had ... good meals we've had ... that kind of thing. What a dog's life in Danville, CA is all about. OK, a dog's life whose mom is a photographer.

So. about me. I'm Nicole Gee, a portrait photographer here in northern California. We're about 30 minutes east of San Francisco. It is a great location -- cute town (but sometimes a bit too upscale for my tastes) and beautiful parks, gardens, etc.

You've already seen Millie. She's a West Highland Terrier, about 10 years young. She's my BFF. She also is loving companion to my husband Ron, and my daughter Michelle. Michelle is a junor at the local high school ... my son Dan has already left us for college -- ending his freshman year at Cal Poly Pomona.

I promise the future posts won't be so boring! But thought you'd like a bit of background. So there you have it.
